Our Family History

Our history is extremely glorious almost for last 75 years whereby firstly my (the undersigned) grandfather, Late Harish Chandra Das was the Founder Principal of M.D.N. High School of my village for almost 28 years (1947 – 1975). He was the promoter (Coach and Mentor) of three more schools in my village: Middle School (Boys); Middle School (Girls); High School (Girls) etc. He became famous in and around 300 villages within 20 km radius because of his value based education, honesty & integrity with very high ethics, philanthropic nature, big donor of money and kind, outstanding mentor, teacher & trainer plus a guide, friend and philosopher etc. He mentored almost lacs of students during his tenure. Presently, people from 40 to 80 years of age still remember him as a “Mentor.” Secondly, my father (the undersigned), Late Arvind Kumar Das (M.Tech from Calcutta University) who initially joined Indian Air Force as a Pilot Officer and after few years of service he got retirement on medical ground and finally he again got retirement as a Secretary from Bihar Government. He was simply a fighter who fought against all odds. He was the first person who fought for Mahadalit/Dalit/Muslims in and around villages. He contributed a lot towards “untouchability”, “Child Marriage”, “Castes”, “Dowry System” and above all “Value Based Education.” He extended a big awareness towards “Education” and because of his early efforts only my village is presently most educated villages among “300 villages” within 20 km radius. He showed extreme coordination with Government people and due to which my village got “Electricity” in 1973 and “Water Supply” in 1982 and “Cemented Road” after 2000. Only because of his honest & sincere effort – all Mahadalit/Dalit got entry into “Temple.” The people in and around my village remember him as a “HERO” who extended the concept: H means – be Healthy, E – be educated, R – be Royal by nature and above all O means – be Obedient towards Teachers, Elders, Women and Government etc. 

Our present achievements are worth mentioning:

(1) We organized “Free Eye Camp” whereby 500 village people get benefited;

(2) We did an Awareness programme on SAY NO TO PLASTICS with FULL success in and around our villages

(3) We did an awareness programme on BETI BACHAO, BETI PADHAO with FULL success in and around our villages;

(4) We declared FREE Education for all community which is worth mentioning: NO Admission Fee: NO Monthly Fee: NO Bus Fee: NO Registration Fee: NO Exam Fee: NO I – Card Fee: NO Report Card Fee etc.

(5) We organized an awareness programme and distribution of “AYUSHMAN” Card

Our Conclusion:

My family did something earlier at ‘Local’ level’ but we would like to go for “National & International” level because we are an accountable and responsible citizen of this World; that is why we need your help, support and generous funding through which many of these Children who come from broken or abusive homes; we will make our school “Heaven” for them through our sincere counselling, tutoring, healing and mentoring etc.
